MHM - Oct2010 - Megamind Toys

For this month of October 2010, Mcdonald's Happy Meal Presents "Megamind" toys. From the animated film Megamind. These toys are different from the US release of Megamind toys. As you can see on the picture, there are 5 bots and obviously there are no Megamind character toy, which is supposedly the main character in the film, very disappointing.

Here's the US release, they don't have Roxanne toy and some crap bots. And we also don't have the light effect bot, the voice changer toy and Tighten.

So we have 4 new toys and we have 4 same toys.

METROMAN

The superhero of human world, voiced by Brad Pitt. Very nice toy, and well detailed. No articulation.

The gimmick, using your thumb move the back piece to the left and to the right to make the figure move his arms like a punching action.

ROXANNE

Roxanne with her scooter. US toys don't have this. The gimmick, the toy has a pull-back action gimmick. Just pull back the toy and release to make Roxanne go.

MINION

Megamind's sidekick, a fish in a gorilla-bot body. The gimmick is, it is a top. Just like the "Chicken Little" toys. Just spin the tip by rolling/sliding it on a slat surface and while the tip is spinning, just put it down on the floor. His arms will spread out as it spins.

FAN BRAINBOT

One of Megamind's Bot. As the name says, it is a fan well not actually a fan that works. No air at all.

You cannot push the button if the mouth is closed. Open first the upper and lower part of the mouth. Then push the button repeatedly to make the fan works.

LIGHT BRAINBOT

Another Megamind's Bot, this time his eye glow. It includes a pencil (color blue pencil). The gimmick, the you can put the toy at the top of the pencil and turn on the switch that will make it as a light as you write on the dark.

DOG BRAINBOT

A dog bot that actually barks. Just turn on the switch and put it down. Press it down to activate the switch that can be found on the feet. It will bark, 2 different barks.

MIRROR BRAINBOT

A girl brainbot?? this toy is for girls. Open it to reveal a mirror and 2 sets of stickers.

SNAPPER BRAINBOT

Another brainbot, well it just opens and closes it's mouth. Pull the trigger to make it's mouth open and release the trigger to close it.

• That's all 8 of them, for me I like the first 3 toys which are characters from the movie not just brain bots (also in the movie). And we have 5 brain bots while the US has only 4 and they have cool brain bots (voice changer, light effects). And it will be much better if they remove the "Mirror Brainbot" or the "Fan Brainbot" and release the Megamind toy, which is the main character in movie. I'm very disappointed, I'm already disappointed with the difference of the US and Asia releases and now it's worst.
• This will affect my rate with these toys.. hmm!!
