Toy from Past: MHM2009 - Tamagotchi

Since the Happy Meal for the month of February is from Tamagotchi, Let's take a look at the Tamagotchi toys that were released last May 2010. There were 6 toys to collect with very colorful colors. They were much closer to the real tamagotchi toy when they are closed though the designs were all in plain colors, just etched (more like colorful eggs). When you open them, you will find characters on different scenarios and backgrouds. They have some gimmicks but mostly action gimmicks.

From left to right:

Mametchi Dessert Time - Mametchi with her desserts, just turn the dial and Mametchi will move and a paper strip will come out.

Mametchi Drive Thru - A blue car ready for a drive thru snack, Push the car and Mametchi will pop out taking your orders. There is also a compartment that will pop out with small writing pad.

Makdotchi Mcdonald's - Makdotchi is on the counter, taking your orders. Press the button and Makdotchi moves left and right while a strip of stickers come out on front like a receipt.

Mametchi Mcdonald's - This was the only toy that has no background sticker. It is a small Mcdonald's owned by Mametchi. Pressing the Mcdonald's logo on the top will make Mametchi move with two Mcdo meals on the sides of the building.

Kikitchi Meal Time - Kikitchi with fries and nuggets, There is a card inclusive in this toy and when you swipe it (there are two ways to swipe it), the fries will disappear (making Kikitchi ate it) or the the box of the nuggets will open.

Kuchipatchi Burger Catch - This is a nice toy, where you must shoot the burgers in the Kukipatchi's trays. There are three burgers that you need to shoot but if press the button too hard the burgers will be trapped at the back.

  • That's all 6 of them. I would say that I like the toys this year (2010) than these toys (2009) because of many reasons, one of them is the playability. And 2010 toys are cuter and cooler. Most of 2010 toys have more than one gimmicks (sounds, action etc.).

I Rate It: 6/10
